Any production or manufacturing process requires precise control of the feeding process in order to have desired and consistent quality of products. At AAG Engineering, we specialize in providing accurate metering and monitoring, plus continuous trace-ability of ingredients at every point.
Basics about Feeder
A feeder is the machine by which the rate of flow of material from a bin or hopper is controlled. When a feeder stops, material flow should also stops. When a feeder is turned on, there should be a close correlation between its speed of operation and the rate of discharge of the bulk material.
Examples of feeders includes a belt feeder for coal and an apron feeder for ore under a stockpile.
Application:
AAG Engineering has immense experience in supplying feeders to many production/manufacturing industries all over the world like – Cement, Mineral or Ore Material, glass, steel, coal, power, port, food, chemical, sugar, etc. Apart from this Feeders are finding their application in almost every industry, for example few are mentioned below:
Food Industry:
Cereals, muesli bars, sugar mixtures, milk powder, diet breakfast drinks, salt iodisation, fluoridation, aromatisation
Chemical industry:
Premixes for extrusion, detergents, pesticides, fertilizers, building materials
Pharmaceutical industry:
Production of vitamins and active ingredients
Plastics industry:
Processing of plastic, films, coatings
Environment:
Flue gas cleaning, water processing, diesel particle filters
Types of feeder
AAG Engineering is specialized in designing and manufacturing comprehensive range of specialized feeders to match the diverse physical and chemical characteristics of bulk products. Few of them are as mentioned below:
- Belt weigh feeder
- Apron weigh feeder
- Screw weigh Feeder
